Proponía seguir investigando técnicas de maquillaje anti-reconocimiento facial con el objetivo de empezar a generar un material escrito para poder publicar y difundir. El contexto canadiense actual y el trabajo de lxs artistas residentes en la galería puso sobre la mesa la conversación de la experiencia ¨two-spirited¨y más en un contexto violento como el de las desapariciones en el landfill canadiense a principios del 2023. La linea curatorial ¨Creando espacio seguros para la diversidad en la era digital¨ se quedó corta a la hora de hacer voz para que se busquen estos cuerpxs, movimiento bajo el lema ¨SEARCH THE LANDFILL¨.
Entonces la investigación de maquillaje se vio inundada con las ideas que rodeaban el estudio y surgió una busqueda que como objetivo tiene: generar en un solo maquillaje, la lectura de dos o más identidades. Estas identidades no serán reconocidas como y los algoritmos las separaran según dos géneros ficticios y dos emociones ficticias similares. Así comienza la investigación de ¨ser plural¨, una línea estética inspirada directamente en lxs compañerxs two-spirit, sus voces y activismos.

I proposed to continue researching anti-facial recognition makeup techniques with the aim of beginning to generate written material to be able to publish and disseminate. The current Canadian context and the work of the artists residing in the gallery put on the table the conversation of the "two-spirited" experience and more so in a violent context such as that of the disappearances in the Canadian landfill at the beginning of 2023. The line curatorial ¨Creating safe spaces for diversity in the digital age¨ fell short when it came to making a voice for these bodies to be searched, a movement under the motto ¨SEARCH THE LANDFILL¨.
Then makeup research was flooded with the ideas surrounding the study and a search arose whose objective was to: generate, in a single makeup, the reading of two or more identities. These identities will not be recognized as and the algorithms will separate them according to two fictional genders and two similar fictional emotions. Thus begins the investigation of “being plural”, an aesthetic line directly inspired by two-spirit companions, their voices and activisms.
